Jessie McPherson Private Hospital Length of Service Awards 2019

We recently celebrated the Jessie McPherson Private Hospital Length of Service Awards.

The Length of Service Awards celebrates our longest serving employees. This year, the categories ranged from a completion of 10 years to 30 years.

CEO Anne Howe thanked and congratulated everyone for their achievement and highlighted their contributions in serving Jessie McPherson Private Hospital.

“Congratulations to you all and sincere thanks for your compassion, your strength and commitment. It isn’t always easy being on top of your game, every day, day in – day out, whilst working in a tertiary hospital.

We deal with people at the happiest times in their lives and also, at the most vulnerable – and that requires reaching out to patients and their families, and touching their lives in a special way.  They will remember your kindness, the encouraging words, or the smile – or for just being there and listening – or going that extra mile!”

Anne also congratulated Susan Luckie who retired from Jessie McPherson Private Hospital in September 2019 after 44 years and 4 months as a midwife, having started work in April 1975.

Sue attended our Length of Service Awards at the Jessie Christmas party in 2017 where we acknowledged her contribution and outstanding service at the time.
