Biography:
Dr Andrea Khaw, a Consultant Obstetrician with 20 years’ experience, practises at Jessie McPherson Private Hospital (Monash Medical Centre) and the Royal Women’s Hospital, Melbourne. Her patients include women with particular maternal and/or fetal issues. Andrea completed her Specialist training in Britain (Cambridge Postgraduate Deanery) and is a certified Obstetric Specialist by the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG), London.
Her research in Maternal Fetal Medicine was completed at King’s College Hospital, London. Andrea is fully accredited in Advanced Obstetric Ultrasound by the Fetal Medicine Foundation (UK). She was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG) whilst practising as a Consultant with the Maternal Fetal Medicine Unit at Monash. Andrea now holds an appointment as Consultant Obstetrician at the Royal Women’s Hospital, Melbourne, maintaining an active interest in the management of complex pregnancies and research (pre-eclampsia, fetal surveillance and growth restriction are some of her areas of expertise).
