The Australian Council on Healthcare Standards (ACHS) is a not-for-profit organisation that independently assesses performance and promotes and improves the quality and safety of healthcare. It is the leading authority on the measurement and implementation of quality improvement systems for Australian health care organisations.
Jessie McPherson Private Hospital, like most other hospitals, is accredited by the ACHS. Accreditation is a formal process that health services participate in to demonstrate that they are providing high quality and safe services based on agreed national standards and processes. Performance is evaluated against the standards each year.
Jessie McPherson Private Hospital has been accredited by the ACHS until March 2014 following a survey of the hospital in March 2010. Feedback from the survey assists the hospital to see what it is doing well and to identify improvement opportunities.
